The Greater Augusta Arts Council has several opportunities throughout the year when people ages 21 and older can volunteer. We love to have fun at our events and hope you will join us!
UPCOMING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
WET PAINT PARTY + SALE
The Greater Augusta Arts Council’s WET PAINT PARTY AND SALE is Augusta’s most colorful art party. Local artists sell their original art in a beautifully staged party that serves as the Arts Council’s annual membership event, and the 2017 party will be held February 18 at the Sacred Heart Cultural Center. The Arts Council is in need of volunteers to help make this event happen! Volunteer shifts for this party are short to ensure you have the most fun possible. Sign up with your friends to make it a great night!
FAT SATURDAY PUB CRAWL
The Greater Augusta Arts Council is the beneficiary of one of downtown's funnest events- the annual Pubcrawl! Hosted by AB Beverage and Riverwatch Brewery, this year's Pub Crawl will be held February 25, the Saturday before Mardi Gras!
In return for the generosity of the presenting sponsors, the Greater Augusta Arts Council organizes the volunteers for the event. It's a fun night for a great cause, volunteers help stamp passports for participants at downtown bars.
Mark your calendars for these great events! We will need volunteers for these events in a variety of roles.
We have volunteer needs throughout the year in the offices of the Greater Augusta Arts Council that will help in our day-to-day operations. With a small staff, any helping hands are greatly appreciated! We can use assistance with monthly membership mailings, storeroom management, Aspirations set-up and tear down, and other tasks. If this sounds right up your alley, please email Christina Berkshire at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 706-826-4702.
The mission of the Greater Augusta Arts Council is to enrich the quality of life for citizens and visitors in
Augusta and the Central Savannah River Area by advancing a vibrant cultural arts agenda.
