Will I have to paint in person?
No, while we do offer some artists the opportunity to paint live at the event, it is not required.
Do you want me to donate my art to make money for you?
No, the Greater Augusta Arts Council does the Wet Paint Party and Sale to help local member artists generate income and exposure, as well as to grow our membership base.
What's in it for me, the artist?
If your work is sold at the event, you will receive your full asking price after the item is paid for.
What if my art does not sell?
Well, you take it home with you that night!
What's in it for the Arts Council?
We sell the artwork in a silent auction. The minimum bid is the asking price that the artist sets. If the art sells for more than the minimum bid, the Arts Council receives the difference.
When will my artwork need to be finished?
