Support Augusta Arts for Georgia Gives day!
The Greater Augusta Arts Council asks for your help to support our programs that promote public art in Augusta.
Today is Giving Tuesday, a movement started in response to trends like “Black Friday,” and, “Cyber Monday.” It’s a movement that reminds us all to give back to organizations who have made a difference in our lives.
The Arts Council works hard to benefit the lives of people in our community through art, whether it is the artists themselves, arts appreciators, organizations who create art for the public, arts educators, and even those who don’t recognize its impact in their lives (yet!). This year for GA Gives Day, we are spotlighting the public art in Augusta that brings us happiness and a chance to reflect. The Arts Council works to promote public art in the city, and we are asking for your help to support these efforts. Please consider donating the the Greater Augusta Arts Council’s GA Gives Day campaign to help bring even more public art to Augusta. With the help of our members, event attendees, donors, city partners, and sponsors, we are able to amplify the arts voices in our community. Several local arts organizations are also participating in this year’s Giving Tuesday activities – there is a list below of several who are able to take donations online. Support the Arts in Augusta for Giving Tuesday!
On behalf of our Board of Directors, Staff, and Volunteers, Thank you!
