06 Jun Nursing Center seeks artists to teach classes
NHC – National Healthcare in North Augusta is seeking artists to teach/assist in art classes 1-2 times in the month of July, and possibly beyond.
NHC is a skilled nursing center that has about 135 long term care residents and about 50 short term residents receiving rehabilitation. The students of the classes would be any resident that wishes to attend.
Classes may be visual art, theatre, or dance. Teaching artists stipends will be $45 per class. Supply costs for each class are not included in the stipend. Teaching artists must furnish a list of needed supplies for each class well in advance for NHC to order them. Supply costs must be reasonable and will be considered when choosing an artist.
