A Curated Slow Fashion Art Show

Join Augusta artists Katie Scarborough and Jacki Mayo Van Dyke in creating a line of slow fashion from the everyday casual to extreme fantasy costume. We are looking for handmade garments, masks, shoes, bags, and other accessories. If you made it and you can wear it, let us see! Items may be made from scratch and/or repurposed, embellished, or altered, and will culminate in a Fashion Show on May 18, 2023. Artists will also be featured and their work promoted in a short documentary and social media.

• Deadline to apply: April 18, 2023 

 

• Artist are to supply their own models (or model themselves) and attend a mandatory dress rehearsal, date to be determined

 

• FREE TO PARTICIPATE. $20 participation fee for any vendors interested for after-show market.

 

• 100% of sales will go straight to the artists. Artists are allowed to bring extra work to display and sell as long as it fits within the show guidelines.

 

• Artists, once accepted, may submit progress photos and videos to accompany their feature in a short documentary. Participation in the documentary is not mandatory but highly encouraged.

 

• Upload image or pdf files, max 10MB each. Although there are only 10 upload slots, you may fit multiple items in one photo. If you wish to include more than is allotted on this form, please email [email protected]
