CALL FOR LOCAL WRITERS!
Submissions are open for Quickies, the original short play festival at Le Chat Noir featuring original scripts by local authors; performances will be in April, 2024.
Writer(s) must reside within the CSRA and environs. We are accepting short plays, 3-15 pages, no monologues. Scripts over 15 pages will NOT be considered. We are open to all styles and genres; adult language and situations are OK.
Writers may submit up to 3 scripts. Please email them to [email protected]. Put your contact information on the cover sheet ONLY. Plays must be submitted in word format, NOT PDF. This is a juried show, and cover sheets are removed before the plays are sent to the judges.
Scripts that meet the above qualifications will be reviewed by a board (authors will be anonymous to the readers). If your play is selected, you will be notified in early February.
Submission deadline is 11:59 pm, December 31, 2023. (Submissions after midnight will not be accepted.)
