The Salvation Army of Augusta has recently announced their partnership with A.C. Daniel and Casey Rowland in bringing more attention to their mission behind their new Family Store, which will open in June.

The Family Stores are thrift stores that are the Salvation Army’s way to battle homelessness in the Augusta area. Customers are important to the cause with every shopping trip, donations, and volunteer hours they participate in.

“I wanted to work on this mural to remind people that it is up to us to create heaven on Earth,” said Daniel.

“I am excited to collaborate on this project, bridging art with a cause that impacts our community directly,” said Rowland.

The mural is to highlight The Salvation’s Army mission to fight homelessness.

“It is incredible to uplift the arts community in Augusta while showcasing our mission to meet human needs in His name without discrimination,” said Marketing and PR Manager for The Salvation Army, Janelys Villalta.

The new Family Store will be located at 4099 Riverwatch Parkway Suite 4115, Augusta. It is set to open in early June.
