Welcome Lillie DeLecuona to the Arts Council team as our new Calendar Coordinator & Volunteer Assistant. While we are going to miss former Calendar Coordinator Cameron Thomas, we are looking forward to getting to know Lillie and showing her the ropes. With Arts in the Heart right around the corner, she is joining us at an exciting time! While she works towards maintaining our Arts Calendar and engaging with volunteers, lets learn more about Lillie!

About the Newbie:

Lillie DeLecuona is a Georgia native who was born and raised in Augusta, GA. She is a graduate of Davidson Fine Arts and has received a BFA in Animation from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Since graduating Lillie has worked in animation crowd funding, art teaching, and children’s book illustration. When Lillie isn’t making art, she is usually hanging around with her four cats, reading comic books, or collecting jewelry (since she believes you are never truly dressed without a pair of funky earrings). She is excited to be joining the Greater Augusta Art Council Team and is honored to take part in fostering a greater artistic community for the city she loves.
