Augusta Chorale of Georgia Announces Christmas Concert for Dec 8, 2024

The Augusta Chorale of Georgia (ACOG) is pleased to host the 42nd Annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 8th at 4pm. The concert will be held at the Gilbert-Lambuth Memorial Chapel on the Paine College Campus located at 1235 15th Street in Augusta, GA.

Special Guests include A Creative Symphoni of Dance, Voices of Blakeney Elementary School, and Bass-Baritone singer Isaac W. Holmes. The Chorale will be accompanied by Aiken Civic Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Adam DePriest.

Concert Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, day of the concert.  Children 17 & under and Students with a valid school ID are admitted free. Tickets will be available online beginning Monday, November 11th at the ACOG website augustachorale.org.

The Augusta Chorale of Georgia was founded by local music enthusiasts in 1983 with the goal of “using every opportunity to bring about awareness of hymns, anthems, spirituals, and the classics.”  Whether singing in concerts, nursing homes, churches, festivals, or schools, ACOG has distinguished itself with excellent repertoire and performances.  Dr. Phyllis Anderson is celebrating her 17th season with ACOG.  Innovation, integration, collaboration and community involvement are hallmarks of her leadership.
