Creative Conversations with Felina Martin and Kim Grimes on Selling in Shops

Join us for another Creative Conversation with artist Felina Martin and the Morris Museum’s Kim Grimes.

Felina is a multidisciplinary artist with many years of experience selling her work. Most recently, she was approved to begin selling her clothing and accessories in the Morris Museum of Art Gift Shop operated by Manager Kim Grimes. Kim has been working at the Morris for several years and sees the value in representing the arts and culture in Augusta’s River Region by adding locally sourced arts to the Morris’ Gift Shop. Learn insights on how to market and brand your work to sell in shops and what types of arts partners businesses are looking for in their retail space.

Creative Conversations is a series of intimate discussions in the Arts Council Conference room at 1301 Greene Street on the second floor of the Sacred Heart Cultural Center. Held on the third Thursday of each month, artists and arts professionals can come together to discuss hot topics that all creatives should have knowledge in. This is a great space to get your answers and learn all about what it takes to be a successful artist.

This month’s conversation focuses on artists who want to explore sales opportunities in venue spaces and shops.

These conversations are FREE for Arts Council Members or $10 for not-yet members.
