C.R.E.A.T.I.V.E. FUND
Micro-grants for Individual Artist Affected by Hurricane Helene

C.R.E.A.T.I.V.E. Fund (Creative Relief for Emergencies and Assistance Through Inclusive Vital Empowerment) is here to empower and uplift artists in the CSRA region during challenging times. This special initiative is designed to support local artists as they reimagine, rebuild, and recover in the aftermath of disruptions, including the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene.
We are proud to announce that grant amounts to individual artists are available from $500–$1,000, providing light support to help our creative community thrive. Whether you’re replacing lost supplies, recovering from a canceled gig, or overcoming unforeseen challenges, the C.R.E.A.T.I.V.E. Fund is here to help.
This grant is open to individual artists from all disciplines (Visual, Theatre, Film, Music, Vocal, Culinary and Fashion) living in or around the Greater Augusta River Region. You do not need to be a member of the Greater Augusta Arts Council to apply or receive funding. However, we hope you’ll consider joining our vibrant community in the future as we work to strengthen and celebrate the arts.

Inspired by the resilience and dedication of Augusta’s artists, she joined many of our community leaders in stepping forward to make a difference. Denise presented a bold proposal to redirect existing funds to directly support the artists who make the Augusta River Region the vibrant and inspiring place it is—and the place we all know it can be. From this vision, the C.R.E.A.T.I.V.E. FUND was born.
This fund is a testament to the power of community, creativity, and collaboration. It is our way of giving back to the artists who enrich our lives and ensure that Augusta continues to thrive as a cultural hub. Together, we are rebuilding and reimagining a brighter future for the arts.

Eligibility & Application Details
To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate their active involvement in the arts by completing a short online application and providing necessary documentation.
Application Process:
The application is designed to be simple and straightforward to ensure quick and efficient access to funds. Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis as applications are reviewed and approved. Grants will end when funds are depleted and all grants are disbursed.
