Join for their exclusive 3-day workshop, sharing a step-by-step process from drawing out a reference, to a fully finished painting!
In this intimate class setting, you will learn three separate steps from three local artists in one weekend!
Each of your instructors are teaching about what they do best:
Day 1: Drawing with A.C. Daniel
Students will learn fundamental sketching and observational skills before applying them to their final canvas sketches. We start by doing several thumbnails sketches of the subject and refining proportions and placement with each iteration. Once the sketches are satisfactory, students go on to the final drawing and inking.
Day 2: Under Painting with Alex Foltz
Students will learn how to accurately mix colors from life. They’ll also learn how to simplify and break images down into shapes to quickly and efficiently build a foundation for a painting.
Day 3: Detail Work with Tiphiknee De Herrera
Students will learn to finish a realistic painting with proper color placement for accurate shadows, highlights, and clarity.
$350 for 3-day workshop
