29 Sep The Annual Winter Art Showcase 2026
The Greater Augusta Arts Council is pleased to present its Annual Winter Art Showcase, a celebration of local creativity designed to make original artwork accessible during the holiday gift-giving season. The exhibition will be on display at the City Gallery, located inside the Augusta-Richmond County Municipal Building at 535 Telfair Street, from October 15, 2026, through January 7, 2027.
The Annual Winter Art Showcase features artwork by Deepti Malik, Mel Cearley, Jack Strickland, Carol Cross, Anna Carbone, Kelley Igo, EMESARTSY, Shannon Colvin, and Karey Santos. Bringing together a variety of artistic styles and mediums, the exhibition highlights the diverse talent of artists working throughout the local community.
As a $200-and-under exhibition, the showcase offers patrons an opportunity to purchase locally made, original artwork at an accessible price point while directly supporting CSRA based artists. From thoughtful holiday gifts to pieces for collectors and art lovers, the exhibition makes it easy to give the gift of local art this season.
The public is invited to celebrate the artists and exhibition at a free opening reception on Friday, November 14, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at the City Gallery. The exhibition will remain on view through January 7, 2027.
The City Gallery is presented by the Greater Augusta Arts Council in partnership with the City of Augusta. Located in the lobby of the Augusta-Richmond County Municipal Building, the gallery provides an accessible public space for showcasing the work of local and regional artists while connecting the community with the arts.
