23 Jan Artist List for 2019 Wet Paint Party & Sale Announced!
A staggering 89 artists will be featured at this year’s Wet Paint Party and Art Sale, hosted by the Greater Augusta Arts Council February 16, 2019. This record-breaking group of artists will each have a piece of original artwork for sale. The featured artists are listed below.
The Art Auction is just one part of what makes Wet Paint Party and Sale a one of a kind event in Augusta. Wet Paint not only features unique local artwork for sale, it also puts a spotlight on Augusta Fashion! Vintage Ooollee, a downtown Augusta favorite, outfits models in her timeless style to match each year’s theme. This year, the party theme will be Rockabilly & Swing. Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to join in on the costume fun, as well. There will also be hors d’oeuvres provided by Cucina 503 and music all night by DJ Codec.
Members of the Greater Augusta Arts Council get into Wet Paint for free. Memberships to the Arts Council start at $35 and include a variety of benefits. Supporter level and above receive free VIP tickets to Arts in the Heart of Augusta. You can join the Arts Council or renew your membership at the event.
