2026 ARTFIELDS FESTIVAL SPECIALTY EVENT APPLICATIONS

Makers Market

Calling Southeastern artists and makers! The market this year will happen during opening weekend of the 2026 ArtFields Festival on Saturday, April 11th and again during closing weekend on Saturday, May 2nd. The market will be open both days from 10Am – 6PM. Booths are $75 for both days or $50 for one day. Submit via ArtBooth by February 1st!

Portrait Contest

This fan favorite event features 3, one hour long live-action rounds. Our prizes this year are: 1st Place – $2,000, 2nd Place – $1,000, and 3rd Place – $500. The contest will be from 1 – 4PM on Saturday, April 25th. Apply via ArtBooth by February 1st!

Food Trucks

Looking at all this art makes people hungry! In 2026, the ArtFields team will be working with the The Culinary Commons, a brand new food truck court in Lake City, to place food trucks and manage applications. Applications can be downloaded at the link below and returned to info@artfieldssc.org with {Business Name} – Food Truck Application in the subject line.

Poster Contest

As ArtFields prepares to celebrate the 14th annual festival in 2026, we’re excited to announce a call for artists to submit original art for consideration as the official poster for the 2026 ArtFields Festival to be held in downtown Lake City, April 10th – May 2nd. The winning artist will receive $2,000, lots of recognition, 25 posters and a sample of any other merch with the design.

Plein Air Competition

This year the event will be held across 3 days: April 16th, 17th, and 18th from 10AM – 3PM. Artworks will be judged by Paula Holtzclaw on April 18th and awarded $1000 for first place, $700 for second place, and $300 for third place. Choose your day to paint and at the end of your selected day, you will take your work and easel to the designated drop-off site. This year, the Moore Farms Botanical Garden is an official painting site!
