Hello All!
As the grant writer and grant administrator for the Arts Council, I have had the privilege to help many individuals and nonprofits in our area find funding to make their art come alive. The need for funding is huge and funds are sometimes hard to find. BUT!!! If you are an individual artist who just needs a little bump of investment to make a milestone opportunity happen for your arts practice, we STRONGLY urge you to apply for the prestigious South Arts INDIVIDUAL ARTIST CAREER OPPORTUNITY GRANT before the February 9 deadline.

Important Dates & Deadlines
- Applications Open: December 4, 2023
- Applications Due: February 9, 2024 (the deadline has been extended through February 9, 2024, from the originally-posted date)
Please note that staff will not be available for assistance after regular business hours, so we encourage questions and submissions as early as possible. - Activities Start Date: On or After July 1, 2023
- Activities End Date: On or before June 30, 2024
- Award Notification: April 2024
- Grant period: July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024
