Box Office Manager / Marketing Assistant | The Imperial

Part-time Box-office Manager/Marketing Assistant position available at the historic Imperial Theatre, a performing arts venue in beautiful downtown Augusta, GA.

 

Compensation: $16 – $20 / hour

 

This is a part-time (24-30 hours per week) position which will stretch the right candidate with varied responsibilities.

Duties involve handling customer service duties and assisting patrons with ticket purchases for shows at the Imperial Theatre via the phone or in-person, processing cash and credit card sales. Other duties involve assisting the Executive Director with administrative tasks, marketing, social media and marquee posts, creating

e-Blasts, updating web posts and public relations related tasks and fund-raising activities.

Flexible part-time, 24 hours per week, Tuesday thru Thursday, 10am – 4pm, must be available to work the Box-office during shows, weekend and weekday evenings as needed, plus handle concessions inventory on Mondays after shows the week prior.

Position is available immediately.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of Windows/ Word & Excel, cash handling experience required. Experience with graphic design i.e. Photoshop, InDesign Canva, required.

Prior non-profit experience helpful but not required.

Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
