The Valdosta (GA) Public Art Advisory Committee (online at valdostacityonline.com) invites sculptors to submit qualifications and proposals for an outdoor temporary exhibition. Three works will be selected by the committee for the exhibit. The works will be on loan for a period of 12 months, July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2018. Sculptures will be exhibited in the City Center Arts District with the City?s permanent collection of public art works.

Each approved artist will receive a stipend of $1,500 for installation and loan of each piece for the year and agree to a 25% commission to the PAAC should the sculpture sell or be selected for the permanent collection. Work cannot be removed for any reason during the one-year period. The PAAC will assume the responsibility for reasonable care and upkeep for the period of the loan.
