12 Sep Call For Artists: GCA Teaching Artists Registry Call for Applications
Via Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA):
Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA) is currently accepting applications for the Georgia Teaching Artists Registry. The agency is seeking to expand the number of artists on the registry to serve more schools and organizations, as well as to include greater artistic diversity and geographic reach throughout the state. Qualified teaching artists must be a resident of Georgia, must have a combination of training in their artistic field and experience in educational settings, and must be able to pass a background check.
In an effort to provide meaningful resources to schools, organizations, and communities, and to help promote the work of our state’s best teaching artists, GCA launched the Georgia Teaching Artists Registry. The Registry is comprised of competitively evaluated professionals who are available to deliver performances, workshops, and/or residencies to schools, arts organizations, and community venues across a broad geographic region of the state. The Registry is also available to the general public as a resource for those seeking recommendations and guidance for arts and arts education programs.
To submit an application, click the button marked ‘The Georgia Teaching Artists Registry Application’ below. This will take you to the Georgia Council for the Arts login page. The application will be submitted through GCA’s online application system, which requires all applicants to begin by creating an account. The application guidelines are available through the button below.
