Members of the artist community are invited to submit up to two pieces of artwork to be included in the Scenes of Augusta & Sacred Heart exhibition. Sacred Heart staff will be responsible for the artwork installation, gallery labels and invitations. An artists’ reception will be held on Tuesday, August 24 in the Great Hall for members of the community to view the artwork and meet the artists. Exhibiting artists will be provided invitation postcards to share. The Sacred Heart Art Hall is a non-profit gallery dedicated to exhibiting two-dimensional works by local and regional artists. Typically, the Art Hall hosts six art exhibitions for a duration of approximately seven weeks each. Occasionally, Sacred Heart features short-term, themed group exhibits like this one.
ARTWORK INFORMATION
• Artwork must be two-dimensional, framed or gallery wrapped, wired, and ready to be hung and no larger than 48” in height or width
• Work previously exhibited at Sacred Heart Cultural Center is NOT allowed
• Sacred Heart retains the right to reject work deemed inappropriate for exhibition in the Art Hall
• Each artist is invited to submit up to two pieces of art
• There will be a limited number of exhibiting space available
• All work must be for sale. Artists receive 70% commission
• Artwork to be delivered to Sacred Heart by Friday, August 20.
