05 Dec Call For Artists: The St. Augustine’s Fourth Annual Art Show
VIA St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church:
Dear Artists,
The St. Augustine’s Fourth Annual Art Show and Sales will be held February 8, 2020. We are offering display booths that are 8’ X 5’. A table will be provided if needed and two chairs at each booth. Set up for the show is Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A hospitality room with coffee, drinks, and snacks is available to the artists. The Café is available for luncheon items.
The 5th Annual Art Show and Sale raises money for The Story Box to provide books for children. Books are read to all classes at A. Brian Merry grade school. Each child receives a new book to take home. The Story Box also maintains several free standing libraries in Richmond County. Many children in low income neighborhoods do not own a single book. We are trying to help these students develop their reading skills that will increase their confidence, keep them in school, and enable them to reach their full potential.
We cannot have a successful art show and raise funds for The Story Box without committed artists like you.
A space can be reserved for $25.00 with 10% of sales going to “The Story Box Ministry”. Acceptable art forms are paintings, photography, clay, sculpture, and wood designs. Craft items are not acceptable.
