VIA Westobou Gallery:

Westobou is seeking applications for a curator to work with emerging and experimental artists to concept an exhibition at Westobou Gallery from June through August of 2022. An outside curator allows for different perspectives and introduces the community to new artists and ideas. The selected curator will be given an honoraria for their time, research and work related to the exhibition including a 500 word essay about the artwork. Submissions are due on June 11, 2021 and selected curator will be notified in July 2021.

WESTOBOU GALLERY
Designed as a contemporary venue for a wide variety of exhibitions both during the Westobou Festival and throughout the year, Westobou Gallery offers curated exhibitions by national, regional and local artists with a focus on emerging and mid-career contemporary and experimental artists.

REQUIRED MATERIALS
1. A brief proposal describing an exhibition you would like to bring to Westobou Gallery
2. A resume that shows your qualifications for curating an exhibition
3. A writing sample about a piece of artwork or body of works.
4. Two references
