Digital Art is a medium that has taken over the world in recent years. With a climbing market for graphic design, ready-to-print artworks are available and affordable. This form of visual art is a perfect option for the giver with a unique gift in mind this holiday season. Dig the Digital will highlight affordable, local artworks and prints in the gallery and in the shop priced to sell at $200.00 or less.

Dig the Digital will be featured in the Augusta and Co. Gallery, which is located in back of Augusta & Co. at 1010 Broad St from Sept 26, 2024 – January 2, 2025 with a reception TBD.

Augusta & Co. acts as Downtown Augusta’s visitor’s center and shop. It features “local only” as a way to represent all that Augusta has to offer to visitors and residents alike. As a result, artworks are not required to be themed around Augusta’s River Region, but are strongly encouraged to have elements that show Augusta from a unique perspective. This includes landscapes, cityscapes, portraits of local icons, and more.

Artists should plan to print and frame their selected digital artworks. Artists may also be selected to sell prints of said works in the shop.

Application deadline is Friday, August 16th by 11:59 p.m.

Selected participants will be notified by no later than Tuesday, August 27th by 6:00 p.m.. There are no fees to participate or submit.

Early drop off is by appointment only starting September 9, 2024. Artists must schedule an early drop off time with Heather Dunaway by calling the Arts Council at 706-826-4702 ext 104.
