GCA is accepting submissions for
the Art of Georgia
The Office of Governor Brian Kemp, in partnership with Georgia Council for the Arts, is pleased to announce a call for entries for the next round of The Art of Georgia. Since 2012, Art of Georgia exhibits have displayed 473 works by 341 artists in the Office of the Governor at the State Capitol and the Governor’s Mansion.
Work is being sought from contemporary Georgia artists, ages 18 and up, currently residing in Georgia. Visual artists are invited to submit two-dimensional work depicting landscapes of the state for consideration. Artwork from across the state will be selected and displayed for approximately one year. This is not a professional, juried competition. Pieces will be selected by the Georgia Council for the Arts and the Office of the Governor. All decisions are final.
Submissions must be received by May 20, 2024. Artists are limited to two submissions for consideration. Please email an image of the work and contact information to [email protected]. Complete guidelines can be found at https://gaarts.org/programs/art-of-georgia/ |
