Join the Greater Augusta Arts Council and Augusta Tech for our first in a series of Arts Professional Courses and Programing through Augusta Tech’s Campus!
Course: Introduction to E-Commerce

Class Location: 200 Augusta Tech Drive, Building 600, Augusta, GA 30906
Class Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Class Dates: Thursdays from April 25 – May 23rd.
Course Description: This course will provide an overview of Ecommerce, designing your website, adding and managing your inventory, and marketing your business.
Textbooks, Tools and Supplies: All supplies needed for the course will be provided. The class will use free versions of any platforms for demonstration and class purposes. We do recommend students bring their own laptop, for familiarity and ease of access to their personal documents (images of inventory, etc).
Refund Period: There are no refunds once the course has officially started.
Evaluation and Grading: Augusta Technical College Grading Scale utilizes “S” for Satisfactory and “U” for Unsatisfactory.
Course assignments include:
- Intro to Ecommerce and Choosing your platform.
- Designing your website
- Adding products and managing inventory
- Marketing your business
- Analytics, Optimization and closing your site.
Suggested, free versions of sites, will include Shopify, Wix and Squarespace.
