20 Feb New Classic Center Arena Mural Call | Athens, GA
Three new calls for art! Professional artists are invited to submit qualifications for three sites for the new Classic Center Arena in Athens, Georgia. ACCGov is seeking public art for the exterior plaza, exterior wall, and interior entryway of the new arena coming to downtown Athens. The selected artists will work with government staff to create public art that enhances the visitor experience and complements the selected sites.
Application deadline is April 7, 2023 at 5:00 pm EST.

Site 1: a three-dimensional, immersive artwork of landmark-scale, viewable from multiple vantage points, for the arena’s exterior plaza. (apply here)
