Open Call: Fully Funded Artist Residency in Georgia (South Caucasus)

Applications are now open for a two-week international artist residency in Georgia (South Caucasus) taking place in August 2026. Forty selected artists will be invited to participate in this all-expenses-covered residency, offering a unique opportunity to create, connect, and immerse themselves in one of the world’s most culturally rich regions.

Located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Georgia has long inspired artists through its vibrant creative heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and deep-rooted traditions. From the folk art of Niko Pirosmani and the cinematic legacy of Sergei Parajanov to ancient monasteries, medieval Svan towers, traditional supra feasts, and the lively streets of Tbilisi, participants will experience a dynamic environment that fosters artistic exploration and cultural exchange.

The residency is open to visual artists working in painting, drawing, graphics, illustration, printmaking, paper art, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and textile art.
