Mark your calendars! The Fourth Annual AbstrACTION Art Show is happening Friday, August 8, from 6–9PM at Better World Studios, and you’re invited to experience an explosion of creativity from over two dozen local artists.

AbstrACTION is more than just a show—it’s a community-driven art group open to all skill levels and visual mediums. The group meets every six weeks, both in person and virtually, to share original works created in response to three-word prompt sets. Artists interpret the prompts however they choose, resulting in a stunningly diverse collection of work.

  • Prompt 5: Spiral, Madman, Hatching

  • Prompt 4: Pyramid, Metal, Open Eyes

  • Prompt 3: Nephilim, Mistress, Shrunken Head

  • Prompt 2: Ramen, Starlight, Dinosaur

  • Prompt 1: Sanctuary, Orchard, Rotten

Reception Highlights:

  • Enjoy snacks, drinks, and music

  • Explore a wide variety of interpretations on the prompts

  • Don’t miss a special artist talk by AbstrACTION founder Tiphiknee De Herrera at 6:30PM
