27 May The Art of the Rings, the Return of the Art Show: Finale local Lord of the Rings fan art showcase at Le Chat Noir
The final chapter in a beloved artistic saga begins as The Art of the Rings exhibition returns to Le Chat Noir in Downtown Augusta, GA for one last epic journey. On view from June 28 through August 2, 2025. This fan art showcase, organized by local artist Heather René Dunaway, pays tribute to the legendary world of The Lord of the Rings created by beloved author J.R.R. Tolkien. The Art of the Rings, the Return of the Art Show is the finale exhibition of this three-part series of art shows, preceded by the wildly popular The Fellowship of the Art Show in 2023 and The Art Towers in 2024. Fans and art lovers alike are invited to the free opening reception on Friday, July 11 from 6:00-9:00 p.m., featuring themed refreshments & cocktails, as well as a special screening of the Return of the King – Extended Edition. Costumes are not required, but strongly encouraged. Elves, wizards, and hobbits are welcome!
