WHY BECOME A MEMBER OF THE ARTS COUNCIL?
Because your membership donation…
- Helps us produce the award-winning Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival, hosting over 88,000 people, and bringing in over $1,800,000 in revenue for the City of Augusta.
- Enables us to provide enlightening and informative workshops in the Aspirations series,? a result of a survey that the Greater Augusta Arts Council took to determine what would serve the local artists in this community.
- Helps us produce our annual Wet Paint Party and Sale that puts cash straight into the pockets of local visual artists. In the last 5 years, Wet Paint has paid over $20,000 directly to the artists who created the work.
- Supports our collaboration with the City of Augusta as the Public Art Agency for the city.
- Provides opportunities for artists to show their work and grow their business skills through the Aspirations for Artists. Aspirations is a program developed by the Arts Council that provides business workshops as well as Gallery opportunities.
- Endorses our role as Public Art Agency for the City of Augusta where we manage projects such as facilitating the painting of the city traffic boxes, murals throughout the city, sculpture in public spaces, and cataloging and documenting Augusta’s public art.

CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS
The Greater Augusta Arts Council now offers Corporate Membership to provide recognition to companies who support the arts in our community. These memberships are available at several different levels, which include:
- Bronze $1,000
- Silver $2,500
- Gold $5,000
- Platinum $7,500
- Diamond $10,000
Benefits provided for our corporate members include logo recognition on event programs, tickets to several of our finest events, inclusion in our event promotions, and opportunities to speak to the community and the Greater Augusta Arts Council membership.
