Introducing the Artist Member Directory!
We’re excited to announce the new Artist Member Directory, the newest feature at AugustArts.com! This database is made up of current members of the Arts Council who identify themselves as artists, and is searchable by name and medium. It also contains work samples and contact information that the artists have made public, for purposes of commissioning work or learning more about where they are exhibiting or performing. Are you an artist interested in becoming a part of the Artist Member Directory? All mediums and disciplines welcome! Email Christina Berkshire at email@example.com. Georgia Humanities Grant now Available
The Georgia Humanities Council has their 2018 Spring Grant cycle open. Examples of funded programs include: film screenings with discussions, literary festivals, historic walking tours, exhibitions, and living history programs.
There are currently 589 Signatures to support the Signal Corps Band at Fort Gordon, help us get to 1,000!
“The Signal Corps Band serves not only for the morale of the military community, but also as a reminder to the civilian community of the sacrifices being made around the world for our freedom. The presence of the band links both military and civilian communities as they come together to enjoy the timeless traditions of a military band. With so much divisiveness in our country today, this serves a peaceful, nostalgic reminder of patriotism in our land that can bring us all together as Americans.” – Cyndy Epps, Local Artist
