17 May Aspirations for Artists Returns May 24, with special guest Summer Bell, CPA
The free Aspirations for Artists workshop program will return this summer as a three-part workshop dedicated to doing business as a professional artist. These three workshops, hosted by the Greater Augusta Arts Council, will share vital information for running an arts business that will cover material like paying taxes as an artist, insuring yourself and your work, and setting up a business LLC for your arts business.
The first session of this three-part workshop series will be hosted Wednesday, May 24, 5:30-7 at 600 Broad St.
Aspirations for Artists is a program of the Greater Augusta Arts Council that offers professional development workshop series for artists in the Augusta Area. It was created after survey results from local artists showed that artists were interested in three areas personal and professional development, business skills such as marketing, and community gallery opportunities.
