Augusta Regional Arts Grants for Non-Profits | Due March 10, 2024

The Greater Augusta Arts Council is happy to announce a grant funding opportunity for nonprofit organizations creating arts programming in the CSRA. Create a grant portal login and apply at https://augustaarts.gosmart.org/

 

The Augusta Regional Arts Grant

Application opens: February 15, 2024

Application closes: March 10, 2024

Award notification: April 15, 2024

Award period: 5/1/24-3/31/25

Final report due: April 30, 2025

 

This Grant Program is intended to fund arts projects that demonstrate artistic excellence and artistic merit.

Eligibility: Only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations based in the eligible counties listed below in Georgia and South Carolina are eligible to receive funds through this arts project grant.

Glascock (GA)
Jefferson (GA)
Lincoln (GA)
McDuffie (GA)
Richmond (GA)
Taliaferro (GA)
Warren (GA)
Wilkes (GA)
Aiken (SC)
Edgefield (SC)
McCormick (SC)

Grant use is limited to costs to make arts projects happen.

This Grant Program is made possible through a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Due to the federal origin of these funds, all awardees are also subject to federal regulations, which can be found online at this link.

Grantees must provide 1:1 financial match for arts project.  (This means a $10,000 project may receive up to $5,000 in Augusta Arts Grant, and must show at minimum a $5,000 funding match from other sources.)
