Creative Conversations is a series of intimate discussions in the Arts Council Conference room on the second floor of the Sacred Heart Cultural Center on the third Thursday of each month. Artists and arts professionals get the chance to network and talk about hot topics that all creatives should have knowledge in. This is a great space to get your answers and learn all about what it takes to be a successful artist.
This conversation focuses on the back end of music. Including booking shows, producing, and sharing your music.
About the Guest Speaker:
Will McCranie has been an actively gigging musician for nearly a quarter century, including an 8-year stint based in New York City. During his time in the Big Apple, he built a successful touring network, signed a licensing deal with Fieldhouse Music/BMG, and recorded extensively with multiple bands and solo projects. While his touring has slowed down, his musical aspirations haven’t skipped a beat. He contributes guitar and vocals to local acts Bodega Cat and Sweet Burrito. Last year, McCranie launched Broken Compass Presents with a series of listening room concerts that featured critically acclaimed songwriters and recording artists.
