30 Sep “Georgia Clay” in the Augusta & Co. Gallery 2026
The Greater Augusta Arts Council is pleased to present Georgia Clay, a new group exhibition celebrating the rich tradition of clay and ceramics in Augusta’s River Region. The exhibition will be on display at the Augusta & Co. Gallery from October 1, 2026, through January 7, 2027, bringing together the work of CSRA-based artists who explore the versatility, beauty, and enduring creative possibilities of clay.
Georgia’s abundant clay deposits have played an important role in the state’s history, industry, and artistic traditions for generations. Georgia Clay honors that legacy while showcasing how contemporary local artists continue to transform this natural resource into functional, sculptural, decorative, and wearable works of art. The exhibition features a diverse selection of clay-based artwork, including ceramics, pottery, sculpture, mosaics, and mixed media. Featured local artists include Victoria Blair, Angelika Selman-Bondar, Yana Bondar, Theresa Borrusso, Emily Hogue, Grace Monroe, and Jenn Peeples.
Designed with the holiday gift-giving season in mind, all artwork in Georgia Clay is priced at $200 or less, offering visitors an opportunity to purchase original, handcrafted artwork while supporting local artists.
The public is invited to celebrate the exhibition at a free opening reception on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Augusta & Co. Gallery.
Georgia Clay will be on view October 1, 2026–January 7, 2027, at Augusta & Co. Gallery, 1010 Broad Street, Augusta, Georgia. The gallery is located inside Augusta & Co., a destination for visitors and locals to discover Georgia-made products, art, and culture.
