The City of Augusta will celebrate, what would have been, the 90th Birthday of The Godfather of Soul JAMES BROWN on Saturday May 6th 2023 with a FREE concert featuring legendary JB trombonist FRED WESLEY & THE NEW JB’S, with special guest: JAMP BAND (James Brown Academy of Musik Pupils), and also local funk jam band FUNK YOU plus special guest DJs.
