Meet the newest addition to the Arts Council team – Brynna Shouse our Spring 2025 intern from Augusta University.

Brynna is filling an important role with the Greater Augusta Arts Council as she delves into our archives to create digital copies of historic documents, photographs, memorabilia and more over the next 10 weeks to kick off our 57th birthday celebrations.

This internship role provides essential supplemental support. In addition to cataloging and archiving, Brynna will help in gallery installations and receptions, event management, content creation for our newsletter and social media, and general office support tasks such as filing and organizing supplies.

We look look forward to working with this talented local artist and student and guiding her towards a bright future in the arts.

You can look for Brynna at our upcoming events, such as Gallery Receptions, ribbon cuttings and our WetPaint Party and Art Sale.

A message from Brynna:

Hello! My name is Brynna Shouse and I am a graphic design student born here, in Augusta, Georgia! I have always grown up being a part of the creative community whether it was dancing at my local studio, Colton Ballet School, finding my love for visual arts at Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School, or working at my family’s dance store, Tutus and Dance Shoes.

This December I will be graduating with my BFA in Visual Arts with a Concentration in Graphic Design. I am so excited to continue my fine arts career as the new Intern for the Arts Council! I’m looking forward to connecting with my community, learning from this organization, and participating in all things the Art Council has to offer in the upcoming months!
