27 Oct United Through Music: A Celebration of Community, Creativity, and Collaboration
AUGUSTA, GA – October 2025 – MelodiousOne Educational Institute (MEl), in collaboration with the Greater Augusta Arts Council (GAAC), proudly presents United Through Music: A Celebration of Community, Creativity, and Collaboration, a two-day event highlighting the transformative power of the arts to unite and uplift the Augusta community.
The celebration begins with a joint ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at MelodiousOne Educational Institute, Inc., 402 Aumond Road, Augusta, GA
The ribbon cutting will be held in partnership with the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce, marking a milestone moment of collaboration and community growth.
The festivities continue with the United Through Music Benefit Concert on Friday, November 7, 2025, in the Sanctuary of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the concert begins at 6:30 p.m. The benefit concert will feature local performers, student musicians, and special guest artist appearance, celebrating the universal language of music as a bridge across generations and communities.
“Together, MEl and the Greater Augusta Arts Council are amplifying the message that creativity builds connection and resilience,” said Shea and Denise in a joint statement. “This partnership symbolizes what’s possible when organizations work together to create impact through the arts.”
Proceeds from the concert will support the mission of the Greater Augusta Arts Council, as well as MEl’s immersive arts educational programming, community workshops, and student scholarships through its REACH CSRA and RAMPS Artist Guild initiatives.
