The Greater Augusta Arts Council is thrilled to welcome Bryce Alexander Giboney as our newest team member, stepping into the role of Administrative Manager and Community Engagement Coordinator. At 31 years old and standing tall at 6’5”, Bryce brings a larger-than-life energy and a deep-rooted passion for the arts to his new role. As a lifelong resident of Augusta with an artist mom who shaped his appreciation for creativity, Bryce has been immersed in the local arts scene for as long as he can remember.
Bryce’s role will focus on strengthening the connections between artists, the Arts Council, and the community. He is especially excited to contribute to the vibrant arts culture that makes Augusta a standout city in Georgia and beyond. For Bryce, Augusta isn’t just home, it’s the art hub of the Southeast.
A seasoned volunteer with over 20 years of dedication to Arts in the Heart, Bryce has also had his photography published in Augusta Magazine and has consistently supported local artists through exhibitions and collecting their work. His professional background in office management and cybersecurity gives him a strong foundation for problem-solving and logistics, skills that he’s eager to bring to the table to enhance the Arts Council’s programming and events.
When it comes to art, Bryce has a special place in his heart for culinary arts and animation, but his greatest joy lies in witnessing the creative process, from the spark of an idea to its materialization and final presentation. He credits his mom as his biggest artistic inspiration, having watched her dedicate every fiber of her being to her craft throughout his life.
As he takes on this new role, Bryce is committed to expanding Augusta’s arts culture and strengthening the community’s connection to creativity. He’s looking forward to every project ahead, especially Arts in the Heart, which holds a special meaning for him. Outside of work, Bryce enjoys gaming, animation, cooking, and tennis—hobbies that all shape his artistic perspective and keep him inspired.
Bryce believes in the transformative power of the arts as a vehicle for community growth and engagement. He hopes to help end the notion that there’s “nothing to do in Augusta” by continuing to bring vibrant events and new opportunities to the city.
We’re so excited to have Bryce on board, and we can’t wait to see the incredible impact he’ll make in his new role. Welcome to the team, Bryce!
