The 2021 nomination process for the annual arts awards is underway. Nominate an individual or organization for their impactful work in Augusta’s art community. Nominations Close: May 2, 2021 at noon.
There are several awards that are given in this process, including; volunteer, arts professional, individual artist, media, sponsor and the Kath Girdler Engler Public Art Award.
These awards are a mix of individual and organizational awards to highlight the work that our arts community does as a whole. There are full descriptions of each award with examples on our website. The Augusta Arts Awards is a staple of the Arts Council’s yearly events. It is held each summer to recognize outstanding work and development in the Arts community.
The award winners will be recognized at an online Awards Celebration on June 17, 2021, at 6pm.
