Roswell Arts Fund and the City of Roswell, Georgia invite artists and teams to submit portfolios for consideration for an exciting temporary public art festival.
A corridor is a link; a space that connects two points of interest. Our corridors connect our natural, historic, and cultural assets. These spaces are in-between, meant to be a place for travelling, occasionally gathering, but always moving. This project looks to elevate and feature one of these corridors; to transform it into a visual and performing celebration for the summer months of 2023. How do we celebrate this river, road, and path? How do we celebrate these spaces that are just as important to Roswell as the destinations they facilitate?
Kicking off June 2023, a stretch of greenspace, trail, and road between Roswell Underpass Park and Riverside Park will be transformed into a visual and performing arts celebration. The type of work displayed may be installation, sculptural, interactive, performative, or anything suitable for public exhibition. The work may be new or previously existing and rented for the exhibition.
