ART IN AUGUSTA

The Greater Augusta Arts Council was created to serve as a megaphone for the arts, culture and talent in Augusta, Georgia.  We strive to promote art from local organizations and individuals throughout every area of the River Region. We do this by sending news to the community of upcoming projects and performances. This information is available in our Community News section, our social media platforms and distributed regularly to our media contacts.

The Arts Council also strives to facilitate new public art in our community as often as possible through our role as the City of Augusta’s public art agency. This includes securing funding for, and project managing, new public art. It also encompasses our work to help local artists turn their public art ideas into a reality.
