The Greater Augusta Arts Council, in conjunction with the Augusta Convention and Visitors Bureau, would like to invite all River Region artists to apply for the upcoming “Public Art in Your Pocket” show at the Augusta & Co gallery space.

This exhibit will be on display from April 1, 2021 to August 2, 2021. The “Public Art in Your Pocket” theme can include, but is not limited to, small pieces that are inspired by public art in and around Augusta, GA.

Artists are encouraged to submit pieces no greater in size than 15 inches by 15 inches to display physically at the gallery but will be able to submit larger pieces for digital purchase on the Augusta & Co website. There is space for 3-4 works to be displayed at the gallery and each artist may submit an additional 4-10 pieces to sale online. The subject matter of this exhibit can vary widely but the content must remain family-friendly to be able to appear in the gallery and on the Augusta & Co website.

To be considered for this showing, artists must:
-live in or have strong connections to the CSRA
-not have the exact pieces of submitted artwork for sale in another downtown business (we don’t want to compete with any of our local businesses)
-must have all listed pieces available for immediate purchase
