Call for Artists: Women and Gender Studies Symposium, deadline January 22

Via the Women and Gender Studies Department: “The Women and Gender Studies department at Augusta University invites artists in the community to submit proposals for artistic, poetic and other creative work to organize readings or workshops to the 6th Biennial Women’s and Gender Studies Symposium.

This symposium offers a unique collaborative environment for scholars, artists, practitioners, community organizers, professors, graduate and undergraduate students and activists to reflect on a wide scope of topics.

The theme for the 2019  Women and Gender Studies Symposium is “Under the Gaze of Lady Liberty: Suffrage, Immigration, #metoo”.  We accept topics that contribute to the body of knowledge of the event.”
