Creative Conversations with Kigg Cherry on Booking A Gig

Join us for another Creative Conversation with Arts Council Vice President and musician, Kigwana Cherry.

By day Kigwana “Kigg” Cherry is a construction engineer and project manager and in between those tasks he’s busy creating a beautiful Augusta. As a self-described Renaissance Man, Kigg has a hand in multiple endeavors throughout the community. With business partner and friend Karen Gordon, he has successfully launched a pop-up event company—aptly named Pop-Up Augusta—where his team dreams up impressive events and Kigg is the main project manager that organizes the details for each event.

Creative Conversations is a series of intimate discussions in the Arts Council Conference room on the second floor of the Sacred Heart Cultural Center on the third Thursday of each month. Artists and arts professionals get the chance to network and talk about hot topics that all creatives should have knowledge in. This is a great space to get your answers and learn all about what it takes to be a successful artist.

This conversation focuses on musicians and what they need to consistently book performances.

These conversations are FREE for Arts Council Members or $10 for not-yet members.
