15 Aug Call for Scripts: Quickies 2018, Deadline December 31
Via Quickies : “Le Chat Noir is seeking original scripts by local authors for our ninth annual short play festival. Performances are April 13, 14, 19, 20, and 21, at 8 pm. This showcase has become one of our most popular productions.
Here are the criteria:
Writer(s) must reside within the CSRA and environs.
We are accepting short plays, 5-15 pages, no monologues. Scripts over 15 pages will NOT be considered. We are open to all styles and genres; adult language and situations are OK.
Writers may submit up to 3 scripts. Please email them to [email protected]. Put your contact information on the cover sheet ONLY. Plays must be submitted in word format, NOT PDF. This is a juried show, and cover sheets are removed before the plays are sent to the judges. Use the Arial or Times New Roman font, 12 point. (We do not require a specific play format.)
Scripts that meet the above qualifications will be reviewed by a board (authors will be anonymous to the readers). If your play is selected, you will be notified in early February. Authors receive two complimentary tickets to the production.
Writers may submit up to 3 scripts. If you are interested in directing, please fill out a separate director’s application.
SCRIPTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59 PM ON DECEMBER 31, 2017!”
