09 Jul Submit Your Short Play to Quickies 2019 at Le Chat Noir, deadline December 31
Via Quickies on Facebook – “Le Chat Noir, Augusta’s downtown blackbox theatre, is seeking original scripts by local authors for our tenth annual short play festival. Performances this year are April 12, 13, 18, 19, 20 at 8 pm. Here are the criteria:
Writer(s) must reside within the CSRA and environs.
We are accepting short plays, 5-15 pages, no monologues. Scripts over 15 pages will NOT be considered. We are open to all styles and genres; adult language and situations OK.
Writers may submit up to 3 scripts. Please email them to [email protected]. Put your contact information on the cover sheet ONLY. Plays must be submitted in word format, NOT PDF. This is a juried show, and cover sheets are removed before the plays are sent to the judges.
Scripts that meet the above qualifications will be reviewed by a board (authors will be anonymous to the readers). If your play is selected, you will be notified in early February.
Submission deadline is 11:59 pm, December 31, 2018
Writers may submit up to 3 scripts.
If you are interested in directing, please fill out a separate director’s application.”
