About the Artist: Sindhu Pillai has lived in Augusta, Georgia for the last 8 years and loves the views from her frequent nature walks. Augusta’s landscape, flora and fauna have healed and inspired her art. Her paintings capture the joy, purity, and serenity of our surroundings. Sindhu’s medium of choice is acrylics as they allow her to create vivid, colorful expressions as she captures the mood of a scenery. She enjoys painting in realism as well as in abstractions. About the Gallery: APMU Studio is an art gallery and tattoo studio that focuses on all aspects of art from canvas to skin. We specifically specialize in cosmetic tattoos, handwriting and script tattoos, customized pet tattoos, and fine line, tiny, and micro tattoos. Their gallery hosts monthly arts exhibitions with local and regional artists with First Friday art receptions. They try to hold either an event or tattoo special each month and also like to offer our space to rent for private parties, showings, etc. Their hours are Wednesday – Saturday, 11am – 3:30pm or by appointment.
